Family Therapy & Parent Guidance

What is family therapy?

Family therapy focuses on the family as an emotional unit. The focus is on the entire family and how they all impact each other/ what is happening to one member of the family will influence other family members. Family therapy can be particularly helpful for families dealing with issues such as parenting struggles, sibling conflict, blended family dynamics, or an adolescent exhibiting behavioral issues. Family therapy aims to promote collaboration and understanding among family members by examining the interdependence of familial relationships.

My goal is to work with the entire family to develop a shared understanding of the issues at hand and help each member communicate and connect more effectively.
